In today's post, I will be going to share the interview of Jayanta Sarkar who is an Instagrammer and street photographer. His photo works were also featured in some well-known photographer's Instagram account. Jayanta has more than 30 thousand followers on his Instagram page. This interview is a part of "In The HotSeat" series,
1) Tell us about your education and profession?
I have passed bachelor of science on nursing and I m a staff nurse by profession. I do photography and it's like a second career for me. I give equal importance to photography and my job.
2) What inspired you to take photography as a second career?
I used to scroll street photos randomly on the internet..since then I liked to click such pictures and photography became my hobby as well as a passion
3) What are your key areas of photography travel/street/lifestyle/
Travel, street, and lifestyle is something that I like the most.
4) Which camera you use for street photography? Which apps you use to edit your pictures?
Nikon D5200 & recently I have GoPro hero 7 black. I use adobe Lightroom and Snapseed for editing.
5) How you earn from this profession?
I haven't earned any money till now but recently I have started a Youtube channel so hope to earn something little if everything goes right. I don't believe in earning but I always believe in earning love and I am sure my audience loves my work. So this love is just equal to earning for me.
6) How to grow on Instagram ? How to increase organic followers and engagement ?
Firstly it matters on the content of what you post then daily updates & to use relevant hashtags on every post..these all will grow your Instagram engagement as well as the followers.
7) Any tips or message you like to share with budding street photographers , Instagrammers and readers of this post?
For my buddies, I wanna say...Try to capture the moments on street and how people struggle in their daily life and whatever u capture it should come from your heart then only the picture becomes perfect.

I love this post. I love street photography but I am not very good at it. I admire photographers who are not afraid of showing what they see on the street.
